About Us

Our Goss Community Press is configured with 3 x 4-high towers (back-to-back process colour) and 1 mono unit (black only). This allows us to print a 24-page tabloid (or 12-page broadsheet) in full colour in a single run, or 32 pages with a combination of 24 pages in full colour and 8 pages in black and white.

We currently print on a range of newsprint, supplied by Norske Skog from the nearby pulp and paper mill in Kawerau. The range includes 42gsm newsprint, 52gsm Norbright and 55gsm Norstar . We also import enhanced white offset paper from Asia in 60gsm or 70gsm. With this being a whiter paper, it improves the reproduction of photographs in your publication.

Uploading your files is easy with our onsite FTP server and with our ECRM CTP machine, we can take your print ready pdf files and create plates for your print job in no time at all. We use quality consumables to ensure your job is of the highest standard possible.

We also have onsite a Muller Martini stitch and trim machine which will turn your publication into one with a professional and clean finish. We stitch and trim most of our inhouse special feature tabloids and always get great feedback from customers and readers alike.
